The partnership, confirmed to MAW this week, will up the company’s rapidly growing publisher network with another 7 million mobile users.
“Shopular will integrate Mobiquity Networks’ software into its industry leading app, enabling it to deliver smarter, more timely, personalized, and contextualized offers to its users,” a provided statement reads. “Those shopping visits translate into approximately $25 billion in monthly sales for the retailers.”
Shopular has created an extensive mobile shopping community by intelligently notifying users of personalized sales and offers when they are near a store or mall.
“The iOS and Android apps boast more than 300 million retail deal engagements per month and are now second only to Facebook in terms of follower counts for top retailers and brands – an achievement unprecedented within the mobile shopping category,” according to the firm’s announcement.
One advantage? Mobiquity Networks’ technology adds precise location data on a massive scale to an already industry-leading Shopular platform.
“Our goal is to be the go-to connection between shoppers and their favorite retailers and brands providing them the most timely and relevant information available,” explains Navneet Loiwal, CEO of Shopular. “This agreement enables Shopular users to enjoy highly contextualized, location-based and universally relevant deal alerts from their favorite retailers and brands when they are actively shopping in any of the malls in Mobiquity’s industry-leading network.”
A recent study by Retale suggests that 84 percent of millennial shoppers respond to push notifications, and 61 percent are interested in offers that can be redeemed immediately – capabilities enhanced by the Shopular-Mobiquity Networks partnership.
