There’s a new mover and shaker in the “motor city.” Kargo, a leader in mobile brand advertising, will soon open an office in Detroit. It’s the firm’s sixth U.S. market.
Sarah Jazwiecki, who will serve as the Detroit-based Account Director and is currently looking for office space in the city, has years of media planning experience for GMC and Cadillac National with General Motors and has spent the last decade selling integrated programs, digital, and mobile advertising to GM, Ford, and FCA in collaboration with their ad agencies.
Jazwiecki will report to Samantha Zurek, Kargo’s Regional Vice President in the Midwest, according to the official word from the company.
“We are invested in seeing our Detroit clients thrive as we adapt our roadmap to co-align with the unique challenges of auto advertising,” said Zurek. “We are also excited to work with the Big Three as they take advantage of the sight, sound, and motion opportunities the Kargo mobile platform provides through video.”
Kargo, the only mobile advertising company that creates rich-media campaigns for more than 200 top brands including Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Verizon, and L’Oréal, reaches an audience rivaling Google and Facebook in terms of scale.
The Detroit move follows an impressive 2016 for Kargo, during which the company opened its first international office, grew its workforce by nearly 60 percent, launched its programmatic and software businesses, and completed its first major mobile ad research initiative.
