Celerity, a business acceleration consultancy, has gobbled up a promising young mobile design and development company.
Celerity said this week that it has acquired 3PC Media, a Pittsburgh-based digital agency specializing in mobile application development, user interface design and strategic branding.
“Merging 3PC’s mobile and creative design strengths with Celerity’s deep web design, development, and content management expertise provides more horsepower for our clients’ critical digital initiatives,” says Celerity CEO and Founder, Michael Berkman.
“Keeping an edge up on mobile technology is critical in today’s digital economy and we want to help companies accelerate that process,” he added.
3PC will complement Celerity’s existing web and mobile services by bringing added expertise around mobile technologies, native apps, responsive design, user interface design, branding and advertising strategies.
If you’re not familiar, Celerity designs and develops digital applications for some pretty large brands and companies, including National Geographic, Carnegie Mellon, Markel Corp, ADA, Washington Times, Scripps, and BCBS providers.
“By joining forces with Celerity, we’ll be able to scale faster as we deliver the full spectrum of digital strategies for our global clientele–from initial product conception and branding, UX and creative design, to application development and delivery,” added a representative for 3PC Media.
