OpenX, a prominent mobile monetization platform, has just opened a new office in Culver City. It’s the third OpenX location in California and the seventh worldwide.
“The OpenX Culver City office will allow OpenX to serve its growing employee base in Southern California with a west side presence,” the OpenX crew tells MAW.
Why another office?
“Our company’s continued rapid growth requires new space and new talent in all areas, especially for our engineering teams,” explains Doug McPherson, the Chief Administration Officer and Legal Counsel at OpenX.. “Culver City’s west side location attracts a vibrant and dynamic population who want to live and work locally, and our office there enables that work/life balance.”
“We want to give our people the opportunity to do the best work of their careers in an environment that fosters innovation and collaboration, while also giving employees the ability to work autonomously on projects that have real impact,” McPherson added.
OpenX is an increasingly popular place to work. The company was recently named as one of the top 100 places to work in Los Angeles by The Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) for 2016. OpenX also nabbed recognition in Advertising Age’s rankings as one of the 50 Best Places to Work in 2015.
Not to mention, business is booming.
“Earlier this year OpenX reported 2015 results, recording significant growth in mobile and header bidding with $140M in net revenue,” the firm said this week in a news release. “After holding the top spot for the majority of 2015, the OpenX Ad Exchange was also recently ranked first in both web and mobile app inventory quality in Pixalate’s Global Seller Trust Index.”
