Hot off the press is Sensor Tower’s latest edition of the quarterly Ad Intelligence Data Digest.
“In this edition, you’ll find a special report on the state of Instagram advertising,” notes the company in its announcement shared with MAW. “The report also highlights the top advertisers, creative trends, and insights from Q2 across five of the top mobile ad networks.”
The data and creatives in the report come from the Ad Intelligence platform, which provides app marketers with unprecedented competitive insights from the world’s largest mobile advertising networks.
Some highlights from the report include:
- The average length of video ads has grown by 67 percent since January — from 15 seconds to 25 seconds.
- Video ads have proliferated: 1 in 4 ads on Instagram was a video — up 23 percent.
- Revenue Fuels Growth: 40 percent of the Top Advertisers on Facebook were also among the Top 25 Grossing Apps in June, 2016.
