There’s a new task force in town.
The internal task force will be put in charge of leading technology innovation in mobile user acquisition and engagement.
“The launch underscores AppLift’s focus on creating more relevant and meaningful ads, further increasing the legitimacy and effectiveness of the advertising ecosystem,” said AppLift in a company release to MAW.
Based in San Francisco and led by Vaibhav Gupta, AppLift’s Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), the AppLift Labs task force dovetails with the firm’s existing mobile ad technology products.
The task force will first and foremost focus on issues related to ad relevancy, data privacy, ad viewability, and ad fraud.
”The commotion around ad blocking is proof that the mobile advertising industry is at its tipping point,” Gupta exclusively explained to MAW. “We need ads that are better targeted, more transparent and more reliable for all stakeholders.
The executive says AppLift Labs will bring together like-minded entrepreneurial spirits, from internal employees to external applicants and industry consultants, to tackle mobile adtech’s current and future challenges.
