Appery, LLC, makers of Appery.io, a low-code platform for “rapid development” of cross-device applications, has just reached the 250,000 developers bench line.
“The success of Appery.io is a result of the company’s dedication to product development and is further proof that developers continue to see the value in an agile cloud-based, low-code, end-to-end platform with the industry’s strongest enterprise-grade backend serve,” according to a company statement provided to MAW.
It’s a milestone, to be sure.
Now Appery.io is announcing new capabilities designed to simplify the way users login and test mobile applications.
“The vast majority of mobile apps require users to create new login credentials every time they install an app – a cumbersome process that often compromises security and creates yet another password to remember,” according to the company. “Appery has empowered developers to add LDAP or social network identity for user authentication into their apps. This gives the end-user the ability to sign in with an existing Facebook, Google, or Twitter account, or go through a trusted and secure LDAP enterprise directory.”
A single, secure sign-on?
“Both methods allow end-users access to multiple apps with a single sign-on for a more secure and convenient experience. To make things even easier, Appery offers out-of-the-box integration for both of these capabilities with no coding required – just point, and click.”
All told, the firm is undoubtedly excited about its big news this week.
“Exceeding 250,000 developers on Appery.io is a huge milestone and we’re thrilled to be sharing it with each of our customers – from large enterprises to small development teams,” said Fima Katz, Appery CEO. “We are equally excited to announce the newest features from Appery.io, which solidify our commitment to advancing and simplifying mobile app development. We’re confident that our technology will continue to increase developer productivity, lower the skills barrier, and accelerate innovation.”
