Meet Motion Ads, the newest innovation in the native mobile ad arena.
Billed as an entirely new solution to Adtile’s native iOS SDK, these flexible native ads represent what Adtile calls a huge leap from the standard static ad images, GIF’s, videos or app installs that we all experience daily.
Nils Forsblom, Adtile’s CEO, says that Motion Ads are uniquely designed to take advantage of the smartphone’s GPS, gyroscope, motion coprocessor, accelerometer and digital compass for the motions and gestures.
“We are also extremely proud to announce our technical partnership with Yelp to support location-based functionalities through their powerful API,” he writes on the Adtile blog. “This means that our ads will feel like tiny applications with much more utility and functionality embedded into them.”
Excitingly, Forsblom admits that the company is actively experimenting with Google Glass “where we see interesting opportunities.”
Clearly looking to shake up the native mobile advertising landscape, Forsblom says his company is committed to being an innovative driving force for native advertising’s arrival on mobile.
