Vibes, a dominant digital advertising platform in the U.S. and Canada, recently trumped the news that it has acquired Red Fish Media, a mobile focused company and provider of various digital solutions.
The Red Fish Media crew, we’re told, has more than a decade of experience engaging consumers through mobile channels.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not made public as of this writing.
The acquisition is the company’s first major milestone in executing the strategic vision it outlined this summer, when it received a $45 million investment from its partner, Syniverse.
“With this acquisition, we’ve solidified our market leadership in mobile marketing as the industry enters a period of consolidation,” said Jack Philbin, co-founder and CEO of Vibes. “Having been in the mobile space since its inception, Vibes stands to maintain its dominant position with the industry’s most comprehensive mobile marketing platform. Red Fish broadens our capabilities with additional technology, and accelerates our expansion into new areas like healthcare.”
