There’s news from ad:tech New York 2016 — the premier industry show for advertising, marketing, and media technology.
It appears that ad:tech will get more social. Show organizers have announced a debut collaboration with musical.ly, the world’s fastest growing video social network
The social network will feature prominently at the November 2-3 event at the Javits Center in New York City.
“The reveal is yet another creative highlight on ad:tech’s revamped agenda, as the show re-launches its mission to connect marketing’s most creative thinkers with the coolest technologies in the world and rings in a new era of innovation,” reads a release from event organizers this week.
One highlight will be musical.ly’s keynote from center stage on opening day. Along with their creative agency Collab, the musical.ly team will conduct live user interviews and interactive demos, “bringing to life the story of how the app evolved into the platform it is today. Its origins were as a music-video app, but musical.ly now boasts more than 130 million users who make over 10 million videos per day across various genres.”
In other words, at ad:tech 2016, forward-thinking creatives will take center stage.
“As new users join musical.ly at a remarkable rate, it’s a great time to team up with ad:tech New York,” said Alex Hofmann, President, North America. “The ad:tech community is comprised of forward-thinking creatives who are driven to understand how musical.ly collaborates with brands and studios to help forge successful partnerships. We’re excited to share musical.ly’s story in such an interactive way and look forward to bringing our platforms to brands and their agencies at ad:tech New York 2016.”
