Taptica was just chosen by Codoon, an influential sports social platform, as its partner in driving qualified user installs in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, and other locales.
According to an advance look at the news provided to MAW, the partnership is designed to promote Runtopia, billed as “the next-generation of sports community apps.”
Taptica is a global end-to-end mobile advertising platform engaged in helping some of the world’s biggest brands reach their most valuable users. And the company is a fully accredited Facebook partner — important to Codoon in reaching these new markets.
Since launching in 2009, Runtopia has achieved 40 million active users in China and has become the country’s largest sports platform.
“Consumers connect to it through an app, which can be used to track runs as well as to share exercises and meet others through its social network in order to provide support and encouragement to fellow running enthusiasts,” according to a press release from Codoon.
In 2015, there were an estimated 60 million active joggers and runners in the U.S. with thousands of marathons and half-marathons taking place each year. Runtopia is looking to Facebook as a perfect channel for reaching social runners who are sharing their workouts and looking to build a community with other runners where they can learn from each other and grow.
According to Codoon VP James Si, Taptica is a partner “that could successfully engage international consumers to generate more interest in Runtopia,” adding that Taptica “provides us with the most complete and comprehensive social media marketing platform to support our global campaign.”
Taptica currently works with more than 450 major advertisers.
