The pen may be mightier than the sword, but it looks like the emoji is more powerful than both the pen and the sword combined.
According to Travis Montaque, CEO of a company called Emogi, these small emotion-fueled graphical icons may be the future of advertising.
Montague already sees the existence of 1,851 emoji in the world as evidence that they now represent the “fastest growing language worldwide.”
Not surprisingly, the executive notes, “a number of brands have already tapped into the power of branded emoji from Burger King, Dove, Gatorade, Pepsi and Taco Bell.”
